Wellion GALILEO GLU/CHOL blood glucose and cholesterol meter

For people with diabetes, blood glucose monitoring is a daily routine. Glucose/ blood sugar is the main supplier of energy in the body.

Simply insert the Wellion GALILEO blood glucose test strip into the illuminated test strip port. The meter automatically activates to draw in the drop of blood at the tip of the test strip. After coutdown, the Wellion GALILEO blood glucose meter shows the current value in large digits on the backlit display. The illuminated test strip slot is particularly practical, allowing measurement even in poor lighting conditions (e.g. in the cinema).

Calcification of the blood vessels and the resulting cardiovascular diseases can be caused by increased cholesterol levels. People with diabetes have an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. Regular cholesterol measurements support you in making life changes (nutrition and exercise) conscious and actively improving your health.

You have the possibility to mark measured values (BEFORE and AFTER eating markers, sports markers, medication/insulin markers), which allows a better observation of the blood sugar values. The memory contains the last 500 blood sugar readings and the last 100 cholesterol readings. In addition, average blood sugar values for 1, 7, 14, 30, 60 and 90 days can be called up.

For special hygienic requirements, as they exist in hospitals or nursing homes, the Wellion GALILEO GLU/CHOL measuring device is also offered with an eject button (Wellion GALILEO GLU/CHOL Plus).

The Wellion GALILEO GLU/CHOL blood glucose meters exceed all criteria of the new EN ISO 15197:2015.

The study "System accuracy asessments with a blood glucose meter with comined glucose and ß-hydroxybutyrate measurement capabilities" shows the high accuracy of ± 10% of Wellion GALILEO meters in glucose measurements.
